1. The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God's word for all people. It was written by human authors who were supernaturally inspired by God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2. God

We believe in One God who is revealed in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority. God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good: He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.

3. Man

Man is made in the image of God and is the supreme object of His creation. Man was created to have fellowship with God, but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man cannot attain a right relationship with God through his own effort. Every human personality is uniquely created, possesses dignity, and is worthy of respect and love.

4. Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is completely human, but at the same time completely God. He is the only plan for bringing people who are enemies of God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life, so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God's demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we could have life.

5. Blood Atonement

We believe that through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, we have been reconciled to God.

6. Physical Ressurection

We believe that three days after His crucifixion, Jesus Christ really rose from the dead.

7. Ascension

We believe that after His resurrection, Jesus Christ ascended to the Father and is currently preparing a place for us.

8. Salvation

The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.

9. The Local Church

The church is a local community of baptized believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ, to obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.

10. Ordinances

We believe that the two ordinances of the Church are Water Baptism and the Lord's supper. Water baptism is immersion in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is a symbol of identification with Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord's Supper (Communion) is a memorial of the death, resurrection and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

11. Transformed Life

We believe that as followers of Jesus Christ, our behavior should bring glory to God. While we are in the world, we are not of the world. We are living life from the inside out. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in us. Therefore, our behavior should not conform to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

12. Heaven and Hell

Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

13. Holy Spirit

His presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth, and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God's righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts such as: wisdom, knowledge, discernment, healing, working of miracles, tongues, etc. and makes us more like Christ.

14. Divine Healing

We believe that God uses doctors, medicines, and other material means for healing, but divine healing was also provided for us through Christ's sacrifice. Through laying on of hands, prayer of an anointed person gifted for healing of the sick, or through a provision of faith, one can be healed.

15. Priesthood of all Believers

We believe that every follower of Christ is a minister of the Lord and has direct access to the Father. We are all on equal footing. Every person must believe for themselves, obey for themselves, and answer to their Creator.
